I have a new lens for my Canon EOS 40D, received today.  It’s the Canon Zoom Lens EF 70-200mm 1:4 L IS USM and intial results on this dull day have been encouraging.  Here’s the rather tired Crittall Window in my office (note the cobwebs!):
